MIDMARK VMS PLUS

This new device offers all the advantages of the VMS by offering a significant space saving to use monitors or surgical equipment. Although the stainless steel plate may appear large, it does not exceed the diameter of the base. It does not take up more floor space than the standard VMS or VME.

Advantages

Its inspiratory valve is equipped with an automatic ambient air return valve. Patented system important for safety, the breathing circuit cannot collide and comfortable when waking up. The expiratory valve is unchanged.
Its absorber tank has a larger capacity: 1500 cc of soda lime with the possibility of working on larger animals (maximum 200 Kgs). It is equipped with a water trap with a bleed valve to avoid any risk of soda lime blocking and moisture overflow.
The opening / closing system of the lime tank has been improved by the installation of locking levers. A replacement kit for this system is now available for all older VMSs.
Adjustable in height, the VMS is even more visual, especially as its design places most of the elements in height.
It can optionally receive another flowmeter (N²0 or Air) or a second evaporator.
It comes with a pediatric Baïn type open circuit for animals below 5 kg, very easy to set up in a few seconds. This circuit also includes an automatic peep-valve opening at 20 cms of H²0 to avoid any risk of accidental overpressure. This peep-valve can also be used on the circular circuit for the same reason before the expiratory valve or to work if necessary, with a constant positive expiratory pressure of 20 cms of H2O.
