Constant current high voltage stimulator

Model DS7A (up to 100 mA) and Model DS7AH (up to 1A) produce constant current and high voltage pulses of short duration for general purpose nerve stimulation for human stimulation or in patients suspected of having ” Peripheral neuropathy by:

• Specialized neurologists
• Physiotherapists
• Medical nephrologist
• Reeducation center

The rehabilitation centers welcome a large population of patients with central neurological pathology:

• stroke (cerebrovascular accident)
• Multiple sclerosis (MS),
• Head trauma
• Spinal cord injuries…

these two models are proposed to overcome the difficulties of stimulating deep peripheral nerves, or large muscles such as the quadriceps with large surface electrodes in the context of rehabilitation, combining neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and functional electrical stimulation ( SEF); with university hospitals, STAPS (Sciences and techniques of physical and sports activities), EFSN (functional exploration of the nervous system) and CAPS (Cognition Action and plasticity and sensorimotor)

Technical specifications

  • Measure the electrical activity of nervous and muscle tissue
  • Overcome difficulties in stimulating deep peripheral nerves
  • Pulse durations from 50µs to 2ms (DS7A) and from 50µs to 200µs (DS7AH)
  • Constant current output 100mA (DS7A) or 1A (DS7AH) from 400V
  • Flexible TTL or push button front panel trigger options
  • Alternate Polarity Control – a toggle switch on the front panel allows the stimulator to operate in + ve, -ve, or alternate polarities during stimulation.
  • Alternating polarity mode ensures that there is no net charge on the stimulation site.
  • Output connection accessories including plugs, cables and electrodes are also available
