The Bilicare system is a device for measuring and monitoring bilirubin levels. It is measured non-invasively in newborns aged 0 to 20 days on all skin colors, to assess the risk of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia and monitor its evolution.

Advantages

A painless measurement for the patient: its measurement accuracy reduces the need for blood tests and painful samples for the newborn at the heel level. studies have demonstrated an excellent correlation with serum measurement of bilirubin (correlation coefficient between 0.88/0.91 depending on the study).
An instant result in a single measurement: the Bilicare system is implemented with LED transmission technology offering greater stability when taking measurements. It is less sensitive to movement artifacts and indifferent to variations in pressure exerted and inclination of the device.
